Not quite that good? This isn't techno techno, more house to me but who the fuck cares what you fall it. I'm chilled out by this, perfect night drive music. I'm downloading dude. 5/5 5/5

Super chill house music man, you did this one some justice. GOOD shit dude. Good shit.
Some volume adjustments may be a bit in order. 4/5 5/5
Good luck with your future endeavors in music man (:

Yes sir, I like so far in the build up, you should check out some of my trance songs I made back when I was 15-16, (2009-2013 I mad some pretty sick trance tracks)
I like this man, it got zero bombed by a troll, don't worry dude. Newgrounds ratings do not matter one bit.
I would put a break in this song, an impact kick, a harder drum sample and master that sheeeeit. 4/5 voted 5 to pick you up dude.

Thankyou for your comment, it's this type of comment that keeps me powering on, and making more music, I made a lot of the tracks this morning in a big session I had apart from "Do you love me", my main inspiration of the day was Jean Michel Jarre, if you haven't heard of him go to youtube and type him in, hes a legend. I score all my scores by hand and sequences. I have never used arpeggiators just so I could get the best out of each piece of music, you will hear more of me when I come up with some more sequences, but will be soon as I work on my music most days! Im trying to make my pieces harder and better but it's all about timing and I haven't perfected this as of yet. I will go for putting better and harder breaks in my pieces and will take your advice to heart and do this!

Thank You Ive never had so much constructive comments before on newgrounds and love you for it, well done!

You sir, have my respect. I too enjoy drum pads and the like, though I have never produced a song through anything but FL. I completely love it dude. I'm younger than you man, but I love the older times. This is real trance too. Respect.

For a youngster, you did a good job. Have a 5 man! You've earned it with this one, I see the effort.

Wow, the ratings on this one are making a comeback... This was rated 2 on the first day it was uploaded! It's so weird that my tame, normal songs get odd, fluctuating ratings; but my crazy, odd, mixed bag ones don't. I make a normal-ish dance song here, it gets 2s, 3s, 4s and 5s. I make a song called Scarred where I decide to break the rules a bit and go up to +6db and it gets 3s and 4s and not much attention. I make a preview just another dubstep song and its views explode, but its ratings go from 1-5. I make a dubstep drop out of nothing but distorted and edited Chipstep SFX and Harmour's Image resynthesis in Cubotics and 3s and 4s and meh attention. Weird...

I got you but this song is clearly a 3.5 but I voted to bring it to that. Here's what I want to say. You need to work more on the mastering, sometimes I spend 9 hours tweaking mastering and it's a bitch but you gotta work harder at it. That ping could use some soft clipping, Your sidechaining, is a bit too powerful for the drum, I do like the beat though it's really catchy and videogame style. Remember to sidechain and limit your reverb ion your piano and lower the volume on that thing! It sounds a bit too distorted. The following synth around 1:45, I LOVE that synth.
You have good variety but there are some bits and pieces that make it a bit harsh on the ear. That's all, but definitely I enjoyed this piece. Sorry it took a while to get back to ya. (:

1. I guess I must really suck at mastering 'cause this isn't the first time I've gotten that complaint, but the problem isn't that I don't try or don't understand, it's that I don't notice my problems. I never even noticed the mastering problems with this until you mentioned it, and even then I struggled to find them, but they must be pretty prominent if so many people call me out on it...

2. I don't know what soft clipping is.

3. I didn't put any sidechaining on the percussion, It's just loud. For some reason I always get weird side effects when I try sidechaining on percussion... One time I set a drum to sidechain a very loud reverbing piano so it wouldn't swallow the master volume, but instead of doing any sidechaining, the drum just had the effects the piano had on its mixer. You'd think I accidentally clicked "Route to this track" instead of "Sidechain to this tack" but I double checked and I didn't... Anyway, since I can't use sidechaining I tend to just make my percussion very prominent.

4. I did use Rough Rider on that piano if I remember right, which is a form of distortion, but I set the sensitivity pretty high so there was a lot of gain reduction going on. I personally don't think it sounds distorted at all, but I guess I'm just horrible at noticing my mastering flaws...

5. I'm not sure what synth you mean, there's 2 synths at 1:45 and both have been playing all the way through, just more in the background. The one that fades in is just a loud, sidechaining detuned saw that slowly fades in every 8 bars, then goes silent again. The other one is a custom preset I made for the GMS called Space Stabs with a sidechain on it, It's mostly comprised of jagged waveshapes with the maximum unison voice amount (16) and distortion with Unison Phase Retriggering. Makes it nice and powerful but short and stabby.

6. TBH This one has a lotta variety for a different reason. For once I wanted to do something minimalistic and I was gonna have just SFX, atmos, and that drum loop. I ended up removing more than half of my ideas because they just sounded off and eventually I was forced to give it a riff so it would "connect" and then it quickly built into something more maximistic...

Really chill, really relaxed man. You know what could really fit in there? A tiny bit more mastering work. I like your technique here though kid, good job on this one man, great intro man, your drop? Your beats? The hihats? The crashes?
I like that you reversed an impact kick, this track would be gold with with some more techniques impliminted and percussion.
Overall it was entertaining, the beat though, was very simple, that step sequencer can become your best friend sometimes. (: Good job 4.5/5 voted 5

thank you :D

THIS! Is a dubstep song. Now time for a review:
There's not a lot I disagree with here, the composition is great.
The sounds are great.
The mastering needs improvement, you want the drop to mean giving your bass drum it's quality and value, Limit sidechain it man! Your bass will accompany that sweet sounding WUUUUB you got that is unfortunately hidden by a lot of the mids. I LIKED it, though there were spots that could have been done better. 4/5 4/5 man

DJ-MiniKnoppa responds:

thanks!

That dirty brostep synth you got there man, I would love to hear it DROP, which means adding a more powerful bass drum man. Sidechain the noise (and noise,,,, you know the white noise) to your bassdrum subtly. I remember when I was your age on FL. Producing? You're in for some Goooood times man, this will become your life if you fall deeply in love with it like I have. Enjoy dude.

DJ-MiniKnoppa responds:

:D Thx!

I'm a music hobbyist, or is it professional? Who knows?
